Through various conferences, workshops, and webinars, the CGLCC provides the opportunity for capacity building and professional development.  And through its global program, the CGLCC facilitates connections with like-minded businesses and bodies around the globe.

Adopted by City Council in May 2016, the Social Procurement Program was developed to address some of the recommendations outlined in the Toronto Poverty Reduction Strategy and was fully implemented across the organization in January 2017.

CGLCC LGBT+ Global Business Summit & Supplier Diversity Forum @ One King West Hotel
May 30 – May 31 all day

Building on the premise that successful businesses will be those that will expand activities through market diversification, adapt to new technologies and better attract and develop talent, the CGLCC’s LGBT+ Global Business Summit & Supplier Diversity Forum will look at the opportunities and competitive advantage of being an LGBT+ Entrepreneur.

This two-day event intends to help LGBT+ business owners, corporate leaders, professionals and young entrepreneurs make some sense of what the current economic environment may mean for their company and identify how they can successfully remain competitive and grow their business while remaining authentic.
