Navigating LGBT+ Diversity & Inclusion in the Tourism Industry – FREE WEBINAR

The global LGBT+ travel market is valued at more than US$200B annually. Canadian destinations are well positioned to grow their share of this market. CGLCC’s Navigating LGBT+ Diversity and Inclusion in the Tourism Industry helps businesses learn about LGBT+ inclusion and how to effectively understand, value, and serve LGBT+ customers and employees.

This workshop provides an introduction to terms and definitions regarding the diversity of LGBT+. There is an opportunity to ask questions, discuss the impact of homophobia, transphobia, and heterosexism in the workplace, and talk about why safe spaces are important. We examine what safe spaces look like, and how this impacts the bottom line, specifically regarding the internal and external benefits of these.
