The City of Toronto’s Purchasing and Materials Management Division (PMMD) would like to invite you to the Social Procurement Program’s 3rd Annual Networking with Diverse Suppliers event.

At this event, booths will be represented by various City of Toronto divisions. Certified diverse suppliers will have an opportunity to network and learn about the City’s purchasing trends.*

Adopted by City Council in May 2016, the Social Procurement Program was developed to address some of the recommendations outlined in the Toronto Poverty Reduction Strategy and was fully implemented across the organization in January 2017.

This two-day event intends to help LGBT+ business owners, corporate leaders, professionals and young entrepreneurs make some sense of what the current economic environment may mean for their company and identify how they can successfully remain competitive and grow their business while remaining authentic.

LGBTQ2+ Trade Mission to the USA - Tampa, Florida @ Tampa Convention Centre

Building on the success of last year’s LGBTQ2+ Trade Mission to Philadelphia, the CGLCC, in collaboration with Global Affairs Canada and Export Development Canada, is pleased to organize the second LGBTQ2+ Trade Mission to the USA.

The 2nd Trade Mission will take place August 13-16 in Tampa, Florida, in conjunction with the 2019 NGLCC International Business & Leadership Conference. This globally recognized conference is the largest LGBT business event on the planet and delivers innovative leadership programming as well as networking and engagement opportunities, for more than 1,400 LGBT+ and allied business leaders. The event will take place at the Tampa Convention Center.

The Trade Mission is open to all Canadian LGBTQ2+ owned enterprises certified (or eligible for certification) by CGLCC and looking to expand business opportunities in the USA.
