Exceptional Ambassadors, Exporters and Suppliers recognized at LGBT+ Supplier Diversity Awards

TORONTO, ON – June 3, 2022 – CGLCC, Canada’s LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce, this week announced the 2022 winners of its annual LGBT+ Supplier Diversity Awards, sponsored by Kellogg Company and EDC on Friday, June 3. These awards recognize the efforts and participation of individuals and companies who champion LGBT+ supplier diversity in Canadian corporate procurement and business.

CGLCC’s LGBT+ supplier diversity program is supported by over 50 leading Canadian corporations, demonstrating how inclusive procurement practices are bolstering the economic empowerment of Canada’s estimated 100,000 LGBT+ owned-businesses.

Awards were presented to winners at a live and virtual event during the LGBT+ Global Business Summit and Supplier Diversity Forum. The two-day event was hosted at the Westin Harbour Castle Conference Centre in Downtown Toronto.

Winners were selected for their commitment to supporting supplier diversity and the work of LGBT+ owned businesses

This award recognizes the outstanding efforts of an individual, group, organization or corporation in raising awareness and support of the LGBT+ Supplier Diversity Program in Canada.

Exporter of the Year

Winner: Freshco Retail Maintenance

This award recognizes the efforts and success of an LGBT+ Business Enterprise in expanding its business globally.

Certified Supplier of the Year

Sponsored by Kellogg Company

Winner: Versatil BPI Inc.

This title recognizes the participation, efforts and success of a CGLCC-certified LGBT+ Business Enterprise in maximizing their certification.
