The purpose of the agreement is to foster cooperation and partnership between the members of both organizations, in particular through greater LGBTI supplier inclusion as well as contracting and strategic teaming opportunities.
Established about a year ago, CCDCR supports the inclusion of small and medium size LGBTI entrepreneurs in national and international markets and connects entrepreneurs with companies that support LGBTI diversity. CCDCR offers interesting partnership potential primarily with tourism-related businesses, and also in areas related to technology, services, energy and agriculture.
The agreement was signed at the first CCDCR Trade Mission 2016 in San José, on September 15, 2016.
Similar agreements already exist between the CGLCC and Colombia, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Vienna-based East Meets West Business, which represents 16 countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
